A prevailing issue, refered to by psychologists,

is consumerism.

I exist, therefore I buy, I buy therefore I exist is, so it seems, the guiding rule of the modern man. We live in a consumerist society that is sustainable only as long as man, in his rush for gold, winds money on increasing speed.

In this filthy system, man has no value himself, his only worth is given by him being a purchaser or a consumer. It is only consumption that leads to a new production, assuring the working of the vicious circle in which man revolves restlessly.
